Unlike their ultra-competitive counterparts, the audience for these niches are not as wide. However, massive payouts can be found for those who are dedicated and smart enough to understand their market possibilities and dynamics.

So which do you prefer, finding a niche that is more refined ultra-niche idea or the very time consuming passion project which is very profitable. Most online empires are built with a combination of the two. Years of research and hard work in the field that the internet marketer is passionate about, along with the hard data and calculations that are validated with a large amount of research into markets along with commercial viability. This is where you want to be in the end.

Being involved in a project without knowing where you are moving and how you are getting there is a bad deal, and you won't be able to ride the market forever. The big payoff in the long run will come from the time you spend finding a niche that your project will excel in.
